Heritage Documentation & 3D Mapping in India

Heritage structures change through weathering, repairs and continued use. Hemadri Geospatial creates a dimensioned digital record of temples, forts, stepwells and other historic architecture so the surveyed condition can be studied and referenced later.

Record the condition that exists today

Photogrammetry captures the visible surfaces and architectural detail of a structure at the time of the survey. A planned record can support conservation studies, archival documentation and communication between field teams, researchers and project reviewers. Coverage and limitations should be documented with the survey.

Connect models with drawings

A textured 3D model helps explain a complex site, while plans, elevations and sections provide a familiar way to study dimensions and relationships. We agree the required views and deliverables with the project team so the documentation serves the purpose of the work.

Share heritage records in the browser

Web-based 3D archives let reviewers explore documented structures without specialist viewing software. Project outputs can also be organised with map layers and drawings. For examples of the types of sites we document, visit our portfolio and public 3D archive.

Plan a heritage documentation project

Send the site location, structure count, intended use and required outputs to hello@hemadri3d.com. Let us know about access permissions, restricted areas and existing drawings or control data. We will review the scope before proposing a capture and delivery approach.
